Our EveryDay Wellbeing Centres are available for customers to come along and spend the day with us, make friends, have a spot of lunch and perhaps learn a new skill or take part in an activity of their choice. Carers are welcome to attend too, or they can use this time as a respite break.
We have three Wellbeing Centres across North Tyneside, designed to help people maintain their independence. Click to see their locations below:

A friendly, tailored approach
They’ll be supported by our team of highly trained, friendly staff who are there to provide quality support in our relaxed, home-from-home environment.
A Team Leader is assigned to each attendee, who is responsible for co-ordinating visits, ensuring individual support plans are followed at all times and conducting a regular review of needs.
What our customers say
“My husband, who has Alzheimer’s, has been attending Cedar Grove Day Centre in Wallsend. At first he was quite reluctant to join in with activities organised by the centre, including having lunch at the dining table.
“The staff were very encouraging but it took him a while to be confident enough to join in. Gradually he has been encouraged by the very caring staff and friendly helpers and he has become more involved in certain activities, such as pool and dominoes. The staff have told me that he has been more relaxed and able to join in singing and dancing activities.
“I am really delighted and full of praise for the caring staff and volunteer helpers at Cedar Grove. They are always so cheerful, friendly and helpful and so caring. I know that he is in excellent hands at Cedar Grove.”
“My mam is just a new member of the daycare centre, from the very first phone call to my mam’s first visit, I could not fault this service and were very helpful when I rang. The manager explained everything and any help what we could get, the driver is lovely cheerful and welcoming. Staff at the centre are all absolutely lovely, I’ve spoken to one specifically on a couple of occasions and again very helpful and welcoming. The food available from the restaurant is always lovely and again will do anything to accommodate, so a big thank you. My mam’s words yesterday was ‘they have changed my life’. I can’t ask for anything more and forever grateful.”
